Domaine meo camuzet - fixin 1er cru - clos du chapitre 2013this premier cru clos du chap, known as one of the greatest climats in the fixin appellation, offers juices of rare richness. On the same latitude as the Mazoy-Chambertin, the Fixin of the domaine is cultivated on a parcel at the northern end of the appellation, at the foot of the hillside. The landscape here is worthy of a premier cru, the entrance to a combe (a valley hollowed out at the top and dominated by steep slopes). The vines are between 25 and 50 years old, and the harvest is late for optimal ripening of the grapes. The wine is very accessible in its youth, but not lacking in potential. The nose is suave, with aromas of ripe fruit, cherries and blackberries. On the palate, silky tannins envelop the palate in a surprising sweetness.
