The origins of domaine roulot, located in the meursault appellation, date back to the end of the 18th century. Its 11 hectares are planted mainly with white grape varieties. The grapes have been grown organically since 1999, and now biodynamically. It was guy roulot, michèle and jean-marc's father, who raised the domaine to its current level of excellence. Jean-marc roulot looks after the vinification of the estate's wines, when he's not acting, since he played in rio sex comedy, the first feature film by jonathan nossiter, director of mondovino. Luchets, tillets, tessons and bouchères are just some of the parcels that produce exceptional white wines. The meursault 1er cru perrières is the most successful domaine roulot wine at auction. The lemons come from Sicily and are organically grown. On the nose, the greediness of sun-drenched lemons fills the glass. The palate is full-bodied, with good volume and a refreshing touch of zesty bitters, and a very long finish! Enjoy chilled or on the rocks!
