Viré-Clessé from the Pommetin terroir comes from very old vines (80 years old) on clay-limestone soils producing an almost candied grape.
A fresh nose, shy at first, which opens up to beautiful fruity notes. On the palate, Viré-Clessé is round, complex and mineral, with hints of fatness and a light acidity on the finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or with a starter or main course, such as poultry blanquette.
