Cuvée brut classic is the hallmark of the great Deutz champagne house. 80% of the grapes used to produce this champagne come from Premier and Grand Cru terroirs. Brut Classic pays tribute to the three emblematic grape varieties of Champagne: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, each accounting for a third of the blend. The nose of Deutz classic brut is fresh and gourmand, with notes of apple confectionery and brioche bread. On the palate, it's a great champagne, with a well-mastered balance between the fruitiness of pinot noir, the vinosity of pinot meunier and the minerality of chardonnay.
"When one considers its impressive evolution over the last few decades, the house of Deutz has admirably - indeed, remarkably - maintained its distinctive levels of quality." - Tyson Stelzer, International Champagne Writer of the Year 2011 & Author of "The Champagne Guide"
