This cuvée is the fruit of Joseph Krug's dream to recreate the best champagne every year, regardless of the vagaries of the weather. Since 1843, Krug has paid tribute to this vision with a new edition of Krug Grande Cuvée: the most generous expression of champagne. This bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée 171st Edition is a blend of 131 wines from 12 different years, the youngest dating from 2015, and the oldest from 2000. The bottles have rested for around seven years in the cellar, gaining in expression and elegance. This cuvée was composed around the 2015 harvest, a year marked by unprecedented heat and drought in Champagne.

Aromas of flowers, ripe, candied and dried citrus fruits, marzipan and gingerbread.

Taste
Notes of hazelnut, nougat, barley sugar, citrus fruit and jelly, almonds, brioche and honey. Fine bubbles, liveliness, great fullness and elegance.
