In a few words ...

A true pioneer and leader of Auvergne's natural wines, patrick bouju of domaine de la bohème attaches great importance to the soil. His vineyards, situated at an average altitude of 500m, are scattered across the best terroirs he has been able to find: egliseneuve-près-billom, billom, lempdes, le puy d'anzelle and corent. With an average age of around one hundred years, there's no doubt that the roots of his vines reach deep into the soils (basalt, limestone, clay-limestone, pozzolan) to give his natural wines a unique character. That's why he vinifies each plot separately, to bring out the specificity of each terroir. To treat his vines, patrick bouju allows himself a little copper and sulfur, and uses plant preparations (nettle, horsetail, comfrey...) to prevent any disease. In the cellar, there's no pollution! No so2 during vinification or bottling. Domaine de la Bohème's Le Mol cuvée is a joyful blend of Gamay, Syrah, Merlot, Cinsault, Carignan, Grenache and Muscat. The nose reveals delicious notes of wild blackberry and black cherry,
