Domaine de la Grand 'Ribe" (Provençal word "ribe" meaning "border") straddles the Drôme and Vaucluse regions. The family estate, founded in 1940 and certified organic since 2002 and NOP since 2007, attaches as much importance to the cultivation of the terroir as to the production of its wines: manual harvesting, vinification and ageing in underground cellars or in oak barrels testify to its commitment to quality. Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled concrete vats (<28°C).

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Romain Duvernay and its 30 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
