In a few words ...
"A most promising lirac." (Gilbert & Gaillard Guide 2015). In this year of 2013, the Rhône vineyards had to deal with changeable and unusual weather, not to say complicated. But these conditions didn't stop the vines from giving their best, and the winemakers from helping them to do so! Aged in new oak barrels for 12 months for the Syrah and in vats for the Grenache.

Lirac
The appellation Lirac is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine Maby and its 12 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
