In a few words ...
Our Cascavel Monts & Vertiges Ventoux Rouge is one of the wines at the very origin of Cascavel wines. Produced mainly on an estate in Caromb, Laurent, our winemaker, is a competitor who loves challenges, precision and doing things well. There's no fuss in the winery, which is designed to keep energy consumption to a minimum and preserve the wines in the best possible conditions. The wines are made as naturally as possible. The vines of our Cascavel Ventoux benefit from the cool air currents that descend from the slopes of the Géant de Provence. It remains suave, pleasant, balanced and spicy in all circumstances.

Appearance
Deep ruby-red colour.
Aroma
The nose is dominated by fresh black fruit (cherry, blackcurrant), with notes of undergrowth, delicately spiced, finishing on mineral notes.

The palate is taut, with a dominant fruitiness (cherry) and a finish of sweet spices (licorice).

The appellation Ventoux is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Caravinsérail • La Maison de Cascavel and its 0 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
