In a few words ...
The result is a wine full of character and expression of fruit bursting with juice. The spices of the site's wild environment were captured as they were released in the vat, only to be found again in the bottle. The original framework of flavors on the palate is based on old Mourvèdre harvested very late, whose small berries profoundly mark the style of this cuvée. Roundness and fruit gradually give way to the fullness and power of the hillsides. The delicate presence of wood is only felt through the mineral expression of the soil in the mid-palate. A long, fleshy, liquorice finish with a strong accent of late-summer fruit and flowers will restore fullness and eternity in a well-chosen place.....

La ferme du Mont is a domain from the region Vallée du Rhône in France, that produces 18 wines available to purchase, including the wine Le Rif 2021.

Vacqueyras
The appellation Vacqueyras is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include La ferme du Mont and its 18 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
