In a few words ...

Origin This cuvée comes from our terraced vineyard at the foot of the Pyrenees, known as "Le Vignon". The vines benefit from a special terroir in the middle of the garrigue, with schisto-marble soil and south/south-east exposure. Yield 18 hl / ha Average age of vines 35 to 40 years old Elaboration Pre-selection of parcels with the highest quality potential. Green harvesting in spring to concentrate the berries. Hand-picked in 10kg crates and carbonic maceration for part of the Carignan. Vinification in demi-nuid with punching down for better extraction. Long vatting periods. Pouring into barrels and ageing in French wood.
