"Élevé quinze mois en fûts de chêne (dont 40 % de fûts neufs), ce Clos du Roy révèle néanmoins une belle qualité de fruits (cerise, cassis) accompagnée de senteurs épicées et vanillées. Le palais, dense et savoureux, dévoile lui aussi un beau fruité franc et très persistant, qui tient les tanins en respect."
