Vinification / Ageing: Hand-picked Aging > 9 years A blend of the strength of Pinot Noir (two thirds) and the liveliness of Chardonnay (one third). Right from the harvest, Xavier identifies the vines whose grapes will give birth to a great champagne. In addition to the quality of the harvest, there's the criterion of balance between acidity and sweetness. Vintage 2008 is a lively, full-bodied wine, whose rich aromas explode on the palate with citrus notes. Born of a single year and a blend of different crus, it is a champagne for laying down.
An excellent vintage for this champagne!
