The winemaker

In the heart of one of the most beautiful wine regions in the world, the Douro, Quinta Do Noval area was born in the spirit of Luiz Vasconcelos Porto in 1894. He quickly began to expand the vineyard terraces. It was in 1931 that the field is gaining notoriety. He is one of three areas that produced the Vintage 1931, Porto exceptional vintage. Since then, the area was the first to design a new port category, Late Bottled Vintage, bottled later. Today the area is part of AXA Group Vintages, owner of the largest vineyards in the world.
