True to its values of quality and prestige, Maison Bouchard offers a selection of renowned villages, Premiers Crus and Grands Crus from Burgundy. These wines are produced in limited quantities only. In the pretty Côte de Beaune village of Savigny-lès-Beaune, you'll find the "Aux Guettes" climat, classified as a 1er Cru. This is where we selected the Pinot Noir grapes for this wine. This mid-slope terroir faces due south. The soil is shallow, clay-limestone, predominantly red earth.
Tasting notes
Appearance
Deep cherry color, crimson with garnet highlights.
Aroma
Nose: very marked by Morello cherry and strawberry in its youth, with a good imprint of the barrel, now moves towards tertiary aromas such as mocha, zan and spices.

Taste
The body is discreetly tannic and full-bodied. It preserves its fruit. Roundness and volume, balance and power in just the right proportions often evoke Morello cherries with beautiful elegance.
