In a few words ...
Dark cherry-red color. Complex aromas of fruit and vanilla on the nose. Soft, supple and round with raspberry notes on the palate. Magnificent finish! The vineyards are located at around 800 meters above sea level. In summer, hot days alternate with cool nights. The soils are mainly clay and limestone. After harvest, fermentation takes place for 7 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of around 25°c. The wine is then bottled. The wine then matures for at least 8 months in American oak barrels, followed by a further 2 to 3 months of bottle ageing. Only then is the wine released for sale. The winery was founded in 1885 by vicente gandía in el grao, valencia, and remains family-owned to this day. Since its creation, the founder's ambition to bring top-quality wines to market every year has endured. To this day, the philosophy and passion for producing top-quality wines has been passed down through four generations. The result: today, gandía is one of spain's leading wine exporters, with customers in over 80 countries on five continents. Around 75% of the company's wine production is currently exported, and 25% sold in Spain. Today, gandía wines are internationally recognized for their individual style and strong expression.
