These are his two great passions: "winemaking and filmmaking are two great art forms", he says himself. Over the last few decades, coppola has produced a series of highly successful wines in collaboration with his excellent oenologist corey beck. Thus was born the rosso & bianco line, inspired by his childhood as the grandson of an Italian immigrant family. During Prohibition, francis ford coppola's grandfather, agostino, had grapes sent from california to make wine in the cellar of his new-york apartment.
