Thibaud Capellaro is a young, established winemaker in Condrieu. His first wines are very promising, showing that he's not afraid to find his own way and venture outside the comfort zone of regional convention in Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. Thibaud is a first-generation winemaker, despite being born and raised in the region. After studying business, instead of following a more conventional career path, Thibaud decided to devote himself to his passion - wine - and set up his own winery. He settled in Condrieu after working with winemakers in France (andré perret, domaine joblot, château le devay, domaine duclaux...) and australia (adam foster, syrahmi). Thibaud's project is twofold. The first is slope, which is a trading project, in which he sources grapes from various farmers and winemakers in the region, all of whom are organic and work on a small scale. Vineyards are located in the Ardèche, Monts du Lyonnais, Gard and even the Italian piedmont. The second is his own estate (2ha), with wines made from grapes he grows himself. He was able to

The appellation Vin de France (Rhône) is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Thibaud Capellaro and its 3 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
