The history of the Château de Paraza is intimately linked to the history of France, and more particularly to the Languedoc region, with its rich past and vestiges dating back to the Roman occupation. Under Louis XIV, the castle served as home to the engineer Pierre-Paul Riquet during the construction of the Canal du Midi, linking the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, then called Canal du Roy.

Passionate about wine, travel and history, Annick and Pascal Danglas decided in 2005 to embark on a new adventure: the resumption of a wine estate. They tell us:

"We had not expected that it would be so complicated to take over the domain, so it brought us together: first Matthieu, then Antoine, and finally the youngest, Lucile, we were all inexorably attracted by this incredible challenge to cultivate the land and make a good wine. "

The whole family is now involved in this beautiful project of recovery of the estate, and together they elaborate wines full of strength and finesse. A goal in mind: to express the best of this beautiful Languedoc terroir. Efforts rewarded by a multitude of medals and even a 90 Parker! A great family adventure around the conviviality of wine, and today at the right price for you.
