at saint germain du puch, between garonne and dordogne, the château haut-pingat produces this very good bordeaux whose simplicity must not hide its great qualities. The merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc give it its fruity flavors, and the exceptional soils of the vignoble de bordeaux provide its characteristic identity.
the wine:it shows a beautiful, luminous dark red color. Its aromas are marked by red berries. Not very full-bodied, it is distinguished by its pleasant roundness and finesse. It's an excellent companion wine for family meals.
Ageing and food pairing:it can be enjoyed without delay, its ageing potential being 3 to 5 years. It goes effortlessly with family cuisine: roast poultry, pan-fried or grilled red meats, petit salé with lentils, charcuterie, cassoulet, quiches.
