Deep, brilliant ruby-purple red. Fruity, fragrant bouquet of Morello cherries, red and black forest berries with a hint of baking cocoa, vanilla and slightly earthy spices. On the palate, very juicy, fruity with present but very gently ripe tannins, round and balanced with a fine balance of power and fruity freshness, good length, finish finely underlined by dark chocolate. Lots of pleasure for a reasonable price, perfect for serving by the glass and banquets! To accompany briefly roasted, grilled or oven-roasted meats and poultry, seasoned with a variety of Mediterranean herbs, stuffed peppers and eggplants, hearty pasta dishes or as a 'vin du goûter' with smoked sausages, ham and pâtés!
