Torontel is an expressive white grape variety that has been present in Chile since the 18th century. It is a natural hybrid of Moscatel and País. From a small, half-hectare vineyard in Alto Magdalena, in the Itata valley, the vines are grown in dry conditions on the hills of the Itata coastal range, 28 km from the Pacific Ocean.
