Their expertise in producing wines for ageing is unquestionable, and this mercurey 1er cru > côte châlonnaise is a perfect example. The clos des myglands is a > that only the faiveley house can exploit.
the wine:the unique pinot noir grape variety is aged in oak barrels bringing it woody flavors highlighting rich black fruits. The tannins are supple, the texture silky with a persistent length on the palate.
aging and food pairing:it can be enjoyed now while retaining an aging potential of around 8 years. It will go perfectly with game with fur, veal kidneys, and veal filet.
