Chenin Blanc par excellence! After being recognized for their true worth in the 1930s, Côteaux du Layon wines had all but fallen into oblivion. They are now making a rapid comeback after unprecedented efforts by winemakers to improve quality. Coteaux du Layon is produced on the banks of the small river Layon. The soil is very poor, and this is one of the reasons for its quality. It's our favorite sweet wine, full of sensuality, richness, length and incredible complexity. It can be the best aperitif in winter: those who have never tasted a Coteaux du Layon are missing out on the greatest white wine the Loire Valley has to offer. A wine for lovers, a wine with great tenderness, a suave kiss from the Loire Valley.
