A lot of substance in this very good St Amour... You can tell a lot of work went into it... The leg of lamb made it sublime... Everyone enjoyed it... It's a departure from the classic Beaujolais standards, if I may say so... The cellar will do him good in four or five years, I'm sure.

A little disappointed, I must say I was expecting a lot from it, given the guidebook scores. It's the only cuvée I've tasted from the estate, so perhaps I didn't get the best of it.
