In a few words ...
Château moulin de la rose is a cru bourgeois in the commune of saint-julien-de-beychevelle, at the entrance to which you'll find the following motto: Passers-by, you are entering the ancient and famous cru of saint julien, salute! In 1971, Guy Delon bought the property from his father. In 1985, he also became owner of Château Ségur de Cabanac, another Cru Bourgeois in the Saint-Estephe appellation. to manage these two estates, he set up an operating company with his children jean-françois and guylène, the former assisting his father in the vineyards and winery, the latter taking charge of the commercial and administrative aspects. The vineyard covers less than 5 hectares and is densely planted. Short pruning, leaf thinning, green harvesting and integrated pest management ensure healthy, ripe grapes. At the winery, you'll find the renowned consultant eric boissenot on hand to monitor vinification. As in 2009, weather conditions during the harvest were excellent. The hot weather ensured excellent grape ripeness, especially for the Cabernets. The heat alternated with periods of rain, ideal for the development of the grapes.

Appearance
Dense, dark garnet-red color, tending toward violet in its youth.
Aroma
The nose is composed of violets and empyreumatic aromas such as wood, torrefaction, vanilla... As the wine ages, it will reveal high-quality game and truffle aromas.
