Seriousness and consistency have been its greatest assets since the early 19th century, and the special cuvée is proof of this. the delicate blend of the expression of a harvest and a majority of reserve wines, some of which have been kept in magnums, sometimes for more than 15 years, in the house cellars. bollinger's special cuvée has a beautiful pale golden yellow color, with fine, generous bubbles. The nose reveals superb aromatic notes of apple, ripe apricot and citrus, followed by toast, brioche and hazelnut.
