The winemaker

Mont Tauch is a vineyard of 1500 hectares divided into plots spread over 5000 villages of Tuchan, Paziols, Villeneuve-les-Corbières and Durban. Each village is known for its terroir and authenticity of its wines. The intoxicating beauty of the villages, vineyards and scrubland around them, delight the senses and reveal the character of the wines. Mont Tauch offers a wide range of wines of Protected Designation of Origin and Country appreciated wine for all occasions. These wines reflect the exceptionally beautiful and varied natural wealth of the Mediterranean landscape. The cellar Mont Tauch, surrounded by scrubland with a thousand scents of thyme, rosemary, juniper and wild lavender, named after the Tauch mountain that rises above the winery. Mont Tauch wines are a true expression of the terroir where, for generations, winemakers coexist with the many wild boars that inhabit the hills feeding on grapes and young vine shoots. The boar's head is the emblem of the cellar and is on all our bottles. Stews, sausages and wild boar recipes, fruit hunting, shared by lovers is naturally accompanied by a glass of Mont Tauch Fitou.
