The winemaker

In Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, at the foot of the Pic-Saint-Loup and opposite the Hortus, Jean-Luc Saumade and Philippe Reboul cultivate three hectares of organically grown vines in total harmony. These two winegrowers, who are in the final stages of their conversion, have established themselves as one of the appellation's leading estates, as much for the quality of their wines as for the keen awareness they bring to their work in the vineyards. The wines? Crisp, juicy, delicate, tannic without excess, they revive palates in search of a breath of fresh air, sometimes exhausted by the heat of certain Languedoc vintages.
