Swept by the Tramontana, the vineyard is set on the Pliocene hills typical of the terroir of Aspres whose filtering soils laden sand ressuient quickly. Remarkably, some of Lauriga vineyard lies on ancient terraces in very stony ground, in the form of pebbles which warm quickly and whose oldest always appreciated the virtues. The diversity of its soil allows the development of a subtle palette of wines. Castle Lauriga makes a point of honor to respect the environment by preserving biodiversity and men who treat the vineyard. When restructuring of the land in the 1990s, plantations were established over the course of the sun (for photosynthesis serves subtle aromatic range) and the direction of the Tramontana, to avoid breakage injuries wood.
