Stéphanie is the eldest daughter of Alain Maurel, founder of Maison Ventenac. Now at the head of the estate, Stéphanie carries on the tradition she has inherited, while bringing her own freshness and modernity. This Merlot was destined for her: an old and sometimes austere grape variety, La cuvée Stéphanie succeeds in this tour de force of rediscovering a grape variety we thought we'd seen the last of, by bringing it freshness, precision and an explosion of fruit.
