    Vinification : Hand-picked from October 14, 2021. Manual sorting before total destemming. Long, gentle maceration: 32 days, including submerged pomace at the end of fermentation. Ageing : 18 months in barrels (15% new). Final blending with part of the same wine aged in vats. Bottled in February 2023.

    Tasting notes

    Appearance

    The color is purplish red with almost black highlights. The depth is strong, but the reflections are brilliant and of great purity.

    Aroma

    Black fruit on the nose (blackberries, black cherries, blackcurrants), followed by red fruit (strawberries, raspberries). Woody, vanilla notes due to barrel ageing.

    Taste

    The palate is velvety, suave and beautifully crafted. The tannins are round, dense and enveloping.
