An elite winemaker whose small La Morra estate boasts ideally located plots, Roberto and his son produce wines of inimitable elegance in their youth, which age perfectly. A major reference in Piedmont's vineyards. Production of 5000 to 6000 bottles of each Barolo cru alone, now partly aged in foudres, more elegant than ever... La Serra is the most elevated of the Barolo crus, with vines located at 400-450 meters above sea level near Morra on fairly sandy soils. The plot totals 1.5 hectares, and has belonged to the estate since the beginning.

Appearance
Ruby-red colour, but slightly transparent and not very bright.
Aroma
Aromas of blackberry, orange peel, licorice and smoke.

Taste
An intense, full-bodied wine, combining maturity and freshness. The texture is powdery, rich in sap, with very fine yet full-bodied tannins.
