Our old vines, selected exclusively for this top-of-the-range cuvée, all planted with Chardonnay and over 50 years old, give it a subtle blend of strength and finesse, as well as structured elegance and freshness. The scrupulously selected grapes give this cuvée a pure, taut, brilliant wine. Its contrasting tones oscillate between chiseled, intense acidity and a tender lightness of fresh hazelnut, almond and white flower notes. This wine is rigorously aged for an average of 8 years on lees to ensure the best possible aging. It also benefits from a minimum 6-month rest period after disgorging to perfect its maturity.
