This wine is garnet-red with purple highlights. The nose is finely fruity and aromatic, with notes of red fruit, licorice and spices. On the palate, it displays a pleasant fullness that, with supple tannins and ripe fruit notes, becomes a very rounded taste experience. The vineyards for this wine are located in the Carcassonne region. The predominantly dry, continental climate ensures consistently high grape quality, with yields of around 70 hl/ha. Depending on the degree of ripeness of the grapes, they are harvested either by hand or by machine. After conventional de-stemming, the wine is gently pressed and fermented on the must at temperatures below 30°c. The domaines saint auriol were only created in 1995, based on the ideas of claude vialade, to market wines from their own vineyards or from vineyards under contract, in compliance with certain quality criteria. The wines of saint auriol are the result of a deep understanding of the languedoc-roussillon and its wine-growing regions, a thorough knowledge of viticulture and constant tasting. Wines from the family estates are vinified, matured and bottled on site. Wines from associated estates are carefully selected after being produced and bottled at these estates under the supervision of saint auriol oenologists. Allergene:enthält sulfite
