Le Lieu-Dit Verdot is located in the commune of Reignac. It is home to a small 13th-century chapel on Périgord sands. The compactness of the subsoil and the coarse texture of the soil are particularly favorable to the blossoming of Petit Verdot, which delivers all its aromatic power in this wine.

The nose is rich and complex, blending notes of black berries and spices with more woody notes.

The attack is ample with fatness, volume and a beautiful sweetness. The firm, young tannins provide a pleasant structure. The mid-palate is dense and concentrated. The bouquet features cherry and licorice aromas with hints of menthol and cocoa. Excellent aromatic persistence. A wine that will delight now and over the next eight to ten years.
