In a few words ...
This cuvée, made from Pinot Noir grapes, is produced from vines of advanced age (50 years or more for certain crus). A fairly long extractive maceration is followed by traditional vinification for a total vatting time of 18 to 21 days. Aging (12 to 15 months) takes place in barrels (20 to 30% new wood). The result is elegant, fruity wines of great complexity that, depending on the vintage, are built to age well.
