    In a few words ...

BRUT RESERVE Premier Cru This cuvée, a perfect balance of three grape varieties, is an elegant, distinctive wine, combining structure, consistency and freshness. This champagne perfectly expresses all the power of Gardet's dual signature style, between modernity and tradition. Specificity of the blend : Our Brut Réserve is characterized by the special ageing of the clear wines, and by the very long cellaring time subsequently allocated to these bottles. An initial blend is made up entirely of wines from the last harvest. Part of the blend is used to make up 75% of the Brut Réserve, while another part is sent to mature in Foudres. The Foudres are made of Vosges oak; their capacity varies between 25hl and 40hl, and some are 50 to 100 years old. The wines from the first blend are matured for 12 months, along with a portion of the wines from the previous year's foudres. The result constitutes the remaining 25% of the Brut Réserve. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks: alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation. The remaining 25% are aged in foudres for at least 1 year. Ageing is carried out in bottles on lees for 6 to 8 years, with a minimum of 3 additional months after disgorgement and before shipping. Brut dosage: 6 g/L. Shipping and ageing: Ready for tasting, can be kept in cellar conditions for up to 5 years.

An atypical champagne with character. Ideal for off the beaten track at a reasonable price. Pleasant bitterness, citrus and spicy notes. A personalized hand-written note in the box, always a nice touch.

A recent discovery for this house, we have tried several ranges, this one is very pleasant, more fruity than the 100% oak barrel, a little less complex.

A Premier Cru champagne worthy of its title at less than 30 euros is a rare find: freshness and dynamism are the order of the day.

A fine 1er cru champagne. The bubbles are fine and the fruit bright. The ideal companion to make your evenings sparkle!

Very good champagne, which delighted my guests. Ideal as an aperitif, it also goes very well with seafood.
